People give ideas meaning. Deeds turn them into reality.
We began as Asociația Oameni și Fapte, with projects run by people who simply wanted to be useful. We helped families, delivered food, organised campaigns and turned up when it mattered.
Today the same work continues through the People and Deeds Foundation, with a structure that lets us build long-term social infrastructure and fund other organisations that can demonstrate results.

Any child in Romania can receive a free book by post. A parent gives the child’s age, and we choose the right book.

We are not asking for money to buy food once. We are building something that produces food year after year.
We fund other people’s work too
No single organisation can solve society’s most complex problems alone. We support NGOs, institutes, professional associations and community initiatives that demonstrate good work producing real results.

A Book for Every Child
Any child in Romania can receive a free book by post. A parent tells us the child’s age, we choose a suitable book and send it. No cost, no conditions.

Support for families from Ukraine
More than 400 Ukrainian families were helped to travel to Romania for shelter and support, alongside humanitarian assistance.
Medicine for Brovary Hospital
Support, oversight and operational coordination connected with the City of Rockford through KATW for the delivery of medicine to Brovary Hospital in Ukraine during the war.
Christmas campaigns
Campaigns we financed and organised, through which children and families received shoebox-style gifts and support.
Agricultural and food support for families
The organisation has land, grows potatoes and distributes food to families in need — the practical basis for the community greenhouse project.
Community action
Direct interventions in the communities where we work, alongside volunteers, local authorities and businesses.
Educational initiatives
Programmes and support for children, pupils and families, focused on access to education in rural communities.
