Volunteer

Volunteers are what keeps this organisation moving. Some come once, others have stayed for years. Both are welcome.

Where you can help

  • Humanitarian programmes

Preparing and distributing aid, logistical support on the ground, working directly with families.

  • Education

Workshops for children, homework support, activities in rural community schools.

  • Greenhouses and agriculture

Planting, crop care, harvesting, sorting and packing on the Growing Healthy Futures project.

  • Events and campaigns

Running Christmas campaigns, community actions and public events.

  • Professional volunteering

Accountancy, legal, medical, IT, communications, translation, photography — any skill has somewhere to be useful.

  • Logistics and transport

Storage, transport, coordinating deliveries and managing stock.

Volunteers under 18

We accept volunteers from the age of 14 with the agreement of a parent or legal guardian. We contact them before any activity, and under-18s always work under the supervision of an adult coordinator. Timotei, who leads our volunteering, started at 13 — we know how much it matters not to be turned away because of your age.
