A Book for Every Child
Any child in Romania can receive a free book by post. No cost, no income conditions, no complicated paperwork.
How it works
An adult completes the form
The request is made by a parent or legal guardian. We only need the child’s first name, their age and a delivery address.
We choose the book
We pick a title suited to their age. A child who has not read much yet does not know what to ask for, and a well-chosen book is far more likely to be finished.
The book arrives by post
We send it to the address you gave. We ask for nothing in return, and we never publish children’s names.
A child who finishes one book will look for the next. It is the beginning that is hardest to fund.
What we ask for, and why
The person who benefits is a child, so we ask for the strict minimum needed to post a book: an adult to correspond with, the child’s first name and age so we can pick the right title, and a delivery address. We do not ask for the child’s surname, date of birth, school or photographs. The details are used only to send the book and are shared with nobody beyond the postal service.
